Hi Daria! I basically hold the ends of the scarf, give it a couple of 'twists' so that it lays nicely. Then I bring the ends of the scarf together and tie it in the smallest knot possible (which usually is not that small!). When I loop the scarf around my neck I try to cover the knot in the back with a scarf "layer" or loop. Hope that helps!
