Hello Gorgeous Loves!
Nothing makes you miss your wardrobe more than when you're away from it for a bit. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, right? ;)
The following looks are from last week and I had so much fun putting them together. I was just so excited to be back in my closet after having to style myself for a week with the very few things I took on my trip with me.
So, let's start off with bows and leopard print!
Bow shirts are everywhere now. Why not layer it under a cardi and let the bow do the talking? That's what I did in the look below. The cardi is a tiny bit loose in the waist, so I added a skinny belt to essentially nip in the waist and achieve a more hourglass figure.

Top via JCPenney, cardi via Target, pencil skirt via Express, Dana Buchman wedge boots via Kohls, F21 belt, gifted pearl bracelet
My office is pretty casual in general. But, on Fridays we are actually allowed to wear jeans. I decided to do a dressed up version of Jean Day by pairing a tweed peplum shell (new purchase from my trip!) with skinny jeans and riding boots. The final touch was a cognac colored belt and chunky pearls; also new purchases from my trip. By the way, I realize that so many of the looks I've been posting lately are somewhat equestrian. I don't know why this is! Apparently it's some phase I'm going through. Maybe I really need to look into horse riding lessons? ;)

Finally, I decided to break out the old Forever21 striped dress that I purchased last year. This dress is far too tight and short for the office. So, I figured it was perfect for Christmas shopping on the weekend. I wanted to wear layers so I would be warm and comfortable, yet still cute. Just a note though: I would never wear the outfit below when shopping for myself. There are way too many layers to take off and on every time you enter a dressing room!
